Understand why having your novel professionally edited is so important. Cassandra will help you master some editing basics, such as what to look for at the developmental editing stage and how to create your own style guide. Also covered are writing query letters and finding an agent.
When not in classes, explore the rugged majesty of the Bonavista Peninsula. Day excursions are planned to provide you with the invigoration and tranquility so important to writing. Chris and Karen Ricketts are pleased to host you at their Inn. You won't be disappointed with their legendary Newfoundland hospitality and delicious menu.
As a bonus, Cassandra is happy to offer a complimentary one-chapter edit or review of your latest project. Work must be emailed to her no later than Sunday, September 1. It will be returned the week of the retreat with comments and suggestions. These reviews will only be completed upon full registration and payment.

Cancellation policy: If cancelled one month or more prior to the retreat, price will be fully refunded. Any cancellation given with less than 30 days' notice will be subject to a 25% fee of the total cost.
